T is for Turkey, it's good enough for me!
Dec. 10th, 2010 04:49 amSo obviously, like all right thinking people do, I volunteered to do the Not-Actually-Non-Denominational Turkey for the Not-Actually-Non-Denominational History Department Pot Luck.
And by "all right thinking people", I mean "people who can't just sit there while everyone else looks awkward when asked to volunteer." This is how I became our DAGS representative and how I'm the History TA Union Rep despite not TAing this semester.
So here I am, at 4:45 in the morning, panicking because my turkey isn't thawed all the way through yet (it doesn't have to go in the oven for another hour, I think) and everyone is going to die and it's going to be a disaster and oh noes panic panic.
I swear, you can set a clock by Cooking Things I Do and countdown to Panic.
The stuffing is just waiting for the bird. Everything is going to be awesome. There will be thawing. It will be good. I believe this.
