A short list of things to talk me out of
May. 15th, 2010 12:09 amSo!
karenhealey is doing her now-annual 24 hour YA Readathon to raise monies for a charity, which got me to think: This year, I may be able to participate in the 24 hour blogathon. Which I've been trying to participate in since the second year it went down, but have never been able to.
If I were to go through with it, I'd want to support the Abilities Foundation, which is a Halifax-based charity that provides wheelchairs to low-income families in Nova Scotia. Full Confession: They provide Don's wheelchair and pay for any repairs it needswhen it's not broken by AirCanada.
But I was toying around with what I would dooooo for 24 hours of blogging. And I was talking to
meloukhia (which always leads to Bad) and ...
Well, I could do a 24-hour RPG online.
Or I could do a 24-hour RPG off-line, although I am not in the RPG community here the way I was in Edmonton when I had the idea the first time.
Or I could do 24 hours of reading & reviewing history books.
Or I could do vlogs about stuff (haven't you ever wanted to *watch* my flailing about dead people?) but I image upload problems.
At one point I thought it would be fun to do a 24 hour trip and update with just photos from wherever I was, but the night photos probably would just be [this space intentionally left black].
I dunno. I suppose it could be fun to take a bunch of photos of places around Halifax and do 24 hours of Halifax History Blogging about them.
Thoughts? Talking me out of it?
