For me, the fun of Smallville was watching Lex Luthor's painfully slow descent to the Dark Side. When he left the show, so did I.

Oh, I'm sorry, was that a spoiler? Yeah, he leaves the show at the end of...season 7, I think it is.

I actually stopped watching the show about a season or two before that. Lex Luthor had finally devolved into the supervillain of the comics, and I was like, "No more reason to watch."

Besides, like a lot fans, I started growing frustrated with the show. In the beginning, it's cute how it makes references and drops hints about "Clark Kent's destiny" and all that, but after six or seven seasons, you just start screaming, "GET ON WITH IT!"

I don't get it either. All I know about Smallville is that the actress who plays Lana is absolutely gorgeous, and the fandom's reaction to her is pretty racist.

Yeah. The DW fandom's awful reaction to Martha Jones and rebuttals of her awesomeness are why I checked out that season, which turned out to be the very right decision.

I need to get out more. I call the formerly feral and now an indoor kitty Emmaline "Emmy" and "Emms" affectionately. So I saw this and all I thought was "Wait...what? My cat is forcing her to watch TV shows now?"

...hrm, Don's allergic to kitties, isn't he? or is it you? I remember one of you is and that's why I'm not trying to foist cats on you even IF they are great study companions who help me do my homework every night.
