You know, there is an argument to be made (and it often is made) that "Uneducated [All] people are mean and ignorant and live in perpetual darkness [metaphorically], and that people who work out have greater confidence."

That uneducated people are ignorant is tautological; I'd spread a little doubt that meanness is the foregone conclusion, but if your world is a restricted and threatening place, because you do not understand it, there may be a greater tendency toward meanness.

I am tempted to urge you to give into your temptation; like bowties, footnotes are cool.
