Aujourd'hui, je me voudrais excercer à le français. Je ne parle pas français très bien, parçe que je ne travaille pas quand j'étais une étudiante. Maintenant, je dois étudier très dure. (J'espere que «dure» est "hard". Je pense que il est "soft". Je ne veux pas que j'étude "soft"!)

Je suis triste que je ne parle pas français. Je suis une Canadienne. J'ai famille qui est francophone. Je suis une historienne du Canada, et beaucoup de histoire est en français.

Je projete d'écris en français chaque jour, et lis un article. Peut-être je vais écrite mes neveu qu'habitont à Québec. (Ils sont les fils de la soeur de Don.)

Aujourd'hui, j'ai

- nettoyé le frigo
- lis deux article d'histoire
- écris mes étudiantes
- nettoyé ma bureau
- bu thé.

Je suis très contente.

....I could read most of that! I only had to look up half a dozen words! Yay. I miss french class. It's been like three years. (I am not trying to write this in french, though. My grasp is definitely no longer that good.)

Veux-tu quelqu'un pour écrire un peu de français? J'ai besoin de practiquer mon français aussi, mais c'est quelquefois difficil à trouve le temps.

Pour mémoire, "hard" est dur, oui, ou dure pour la feminine. Et ce site est pas mal pour un dictionnaire à Internet.

Je veux me rappeler plus la francais, aussi. J'ai fait des vacances au Montreal et acheté un livre là: Elisabeth Vonarsburg, Les Voyageurs Malgré Eux. C'est un peu dificil, parce que je lis trés vite en anglais mais pas si bien en francais. Peut-être je vais traduire mes articles de journal? (Je parle aussi l'espagnol, et je remplace des mots tous le temps, si je ne me concentre pas.)

Je dirais plutôt «travailler fort», au lieu de «dur». Je le crois plus idiomatique. Pour moi, les défits sont l'idiom, le vocabulaire, et le compréhension orale. Aussi, la confiance en moi.

Si tu avais un Mac, comme ton mari, ajouter des accents et guillemets serait très facile.

Bonjour! J'ai etudie cinq ans de francais, mais je n'ai practique pas pour vingt ans. C'est plus dificil ecrire que lire, mais c'est amusant.

On the plus side, I (think I) understood everything you wrote, and the only word I had to look up above was "fun." Amazing what the brain will cough up!
